Hiya stamp champs,
That's right a double post day! Why? Because the stamping press is sizzling! It's so hot even I'm feeling the burn lol. So this was a total out of nowhere discovery. You may not know this but I kind of regularly stalk Hayley of Emily de Molly. The truth is I've been in love with her nail polish since I discovered it some 2 years ago. Then she was still shipping directly from Australia to the US so I have some of her "vintage label" bottles. Nowadays you have to get it through resellers if you want it here in the US, but I still like to stalk her page for new colors and update, and since she created her stamping plates almost doubly so. Imagine my surprise when my eyes alighted upon these pretty babies....

Hot Off The Stamping Press: Bundle Monster Create Your Own 2014 Collection!
Happy Hallloween stamp champs,
I'm so bummed I wasn't able to create more Halloween nail art for this year. It's been hectic in more ways than I can describe, but one thing always cheers me up when I'm feeling bummed....that's right new nail art stamping plates. I think a lot of ladies look forward to the Bundle Monster plate releases. They are affordable and offer a nice array of images that you can use in collection over and over again. To this day my favorite BM Collection is the 2012 plates and the HD Collection. Useful and so cute! Plus it doesn't hurt that they are uber affordable. What's great about the CYO plates is that they are created, for the most part, by the fans who entered their own designs. I have promised myself that if they do anymore I will try to enter some, but for now let's take a look at this new collection, and later I'll tell you how you can save a few bucks while you're at it..
Unfortunately I can't zoom in on the images any further than this so you will have to go to the website and check them out with the automated zoom for a closer look. But what' I've seen on the zoom I really love. They have a few stock images that are par for the course but a lot of these designs are very unique and cool looking!

Hot Off The Stamping Press: MoYou London Cookbook Collection!
Hey stamp champs,
A late week post on the MoYou London plates that are releasing this week and guess what? MoYou London has released an entire new collection called the Cookbook Collection! I for one am so excited as I love cooking, well eating other peoples' cooking. I can cook but the effort is often too much for these days aside from the occasional monster vat of chili, homemade ice cream, and quiche. Anyway how cute is this idea? Let's take a look at what MoYou came up with this week....

Nail Art Stamping For Beginners: How To Successfully Start Nail Art Stamping!
Updated 1/2015
Welcome to the classroom stamparistas,This is the start of my Beginner's Series on Nail Art Stamping. It's actually been a long time coming. In fact this is draft 2, the first was deleted by blogger sigh, but I've been slowly and carefully crafting what will be a 3 part series to help those that are just beginning to stamp or for those who what a good start point before making purchases. This series will act as a guide to those new to stamping and a resource for pros or vested stampers to point out in aiding others. I figure as I've been at this stamping thing for about 8 years now I've accumulated lots of tips and tricks that will hopefully help you become successful at the craft of stamping, and assist in getting over that hump of frustration that one can experience when starting out. Part 1 is all about where to begin when you first start stamping. Don't forget I also have up a Stamping 101 page with some resources that you can check out as well. Now let's get started.....
Hot Off The Stamping Press: B.Loves Plates Nail Art Stamping Plates!
Hiya stamparistas,
Twenty one serious images of the geometric variety from simple to very vey intricate. This is a solid plate to add to any collection.
As I said before the old adage of when it rains it pours is true! Especially regarding stamping plates. It seems every time I look up a new brand of nail art stamping plates is emerging and certainly there are more plates than ever available on the market with all kinds of different approaches. Today's new brand is B. Loves Plates, a new indie brand from Poland. Ah the global experience is real over here. I love discovering new brands from all over the world and it's the first time I've seen a Polish brand. So let's see what B, reminds me eerily of Gossip Girl, has to offer....

Born Pretty Store Nail Art Stamping Plate Update: BP vs BornPretty Plates What's The Difference?
Hey stamp champs,
I wanted to address the difference in the Born Pretty Store plates when I noticed. While looking through all the available plates on the website lo and behold I recognized the first set of Born Pretty plates from 1-10 and the bundle currently listed from 1-10 on the website were all different! Sigh. I can't say I'm happy about that when I noticed the first set has images that are much smaller compared to the new plates. So this is basically what happened. If you were like me and got the first set of plates that released from the Born Pretty Store brand they were the smaller images and the plates are labelled as BornPretty. At the time of the initial sale and release these plates were $18.39USD not the 0.99 cents per plate that was offered yesterday but roughly $2.39USD per plate.
Above are the old/first release of the Born Pretty Store plates from one month ago. If you want to see close up individual images of all the plates see my original post here. Now take a look at the BP plates which launched yesterday and are essentially the larger version of the BornPretty plates though many have been completely redesigned. Especially BornPretty 06. I'll show you that one individually below.

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Bunny Nails HD Nail Art Stamping Plates!
Hiya stamp champs,
I wanted to get this post up yesterday, but the day moved like lightening and I didn't make the post in time. The reason I wanted to get this up as soon as possible is because Bunny Nails has released new stamping plates and two are themed around the Halloween holiday so for those of my followers that are US located you can still order and receive your plates in time to get in some Halloween nail art. Dulce often releases plates right around this time of year and the holidays so I feel there is always a mad dash to attain her plates, but they are utterly worth it. Let's take a look....

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Marinanne Nails Nail Art Stamping Plates!
Hey lacqueristas,
I really stand by the theory of raining and pouring plates. I really do. It seems plate makers all get together and plot our monetary downfall. Between the platemakers and the indie polish makers my wallet is weeping blood lol! Alas if only everything wasn't so freaking tempting. Well get your wallets ready because these next plates are going to leave you begging for mercy ;) That's right finally Ghislaine, owner and creator of Marianne Nails, is set to release a new batch of plates and boy did she knock these out of the ball park. If you don't remember this the French brand of indie plates I reviewed and blogged about before (you can read the review here). At last count here were 56 plates that were part of the old series. Today I will be showing you 35 more from the new series...
Lace darlings and don't the French make this stuff look so sultry?

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Born Pretty Store Plates + 4 Year Anniversary Sale!
Hiya stamp champs,
There are so many new plates coming out these days that now the choice comes down to your personal preference versus availability and I have to say that is ALL kinds of awesome! Though I will be the first to admit as a stamping addict it can be challenging to only pick a few when everything is so tempting. So why don't I tempt you a bit more today and tell you about the new plates being released by Born Pretty Store on Thursday as well as their 24 hour sale?
As you know BPS recently released a 10 piece set of plates about a month ago (you can read about it here) and it looks like the designers have been very busy because they have churned out 15 more for our stamping pleasure.

MoYou London 31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Day 22 Flowers
Happy sunday funday lacqueristas,
Quiet day with lots of work planned for me? Anyone else having a relaxing weekend? I decided today was a good day to post another look from the MoYou London 31 Day nail art challenge. The theme for this day was Floral. I will say I wasn't entirely happy with how these came out in terms of color choice, but not in terms of execution. I really wanted the yellow to burst forth and I don't know if I achieved that. Somehow though it still came out kind cute or I'm totally full of self-delusion lol either way here we go!

Halloween 2014: Essie Cute & Girly Halloween Nail Art
Hey lacqueristas,
I really wish I had more time to put up Halloween nail art. As it is I'll be lucky if I can get up even a few more, but one thing I always try to do every year is create a Halloween nail art look that is feminine, sweet, and all things girly. I think I wasn't able to post such a look last year and it fact this may be the first. I know a lot of ladies always want their nails to look soft and feminine and that can be hard with all the whimsy and scary going on this time of year. In my case I like all three looks, but will always abstain from gorey Halloween nail art because no matter what I put on my nails I always want them to look at least minimally cute. Lol! I get enough gore in my daytime job so I don't need it on my nails too. In any case here's the softer look I created for todays post....

MoYou London 31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Day 21 Fashion
Happy Friday varnished vixens,
Today I decided to do another post for the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge I did for MoYou London a while ago. If you follow me on Instagram you know about all the posts and the winner has been announced ages ago. I wanted to make sure I got up all the blog posts that corresponded as well but it's been a bit of slow going. The prompt for the 21st day was Fashion. I chose to use designs and patterns by the tribal and pattern loving designer Mara Hoffman.

Psychedelic Sally Hansen Color Foil Watermarble Nail Art
Hey lacqueristas,
Time for some devaulting! One of the issues that I faced when blogger decided to implode on me is that I lost an unbelievable number of planned blog posts. Sigh. Ok so that definitely made me sad especially since oftentimes I use my draft posts as a means of tracking which plates and polishes I used to create a look like today's that may go up later. I'll apologize in advance if I missed any polishes or details, but I'll try my best to make sure I don't miss anything. So let's get onto todays post!

My Favorite Nail Art Stamping Plates for Halloween!
Hey stamp champs,
This post is overdue - eep! I wanted to get it up at the start of the month, but things happened as you well know. However I still would like to give some of my Halloween loving followers a chance to check out plates that are much beloved in my collection for the Halloween holiday. I say this despite never having enough time during the month of October to put up all the Halloween nail art I want too. I'm not sure what to do about that but whatever. For now let's enjoy the nail art plate spam!
My absolute favorites are none other than the HD plates from Bunny Nails! PS I also have the now discontinued round smaller version of these plates. Most of the images cross over so you you aren't missing out on too much :)

Hot Off The Stamping Press: MoYou London Kitty Collection Expansion!
Hey stamp champs,
Its been quiet around here right? I have too much going on IRL to stay on top of posts as I would like to and combined with my recent blogger/internet access troubles this month has been extremely challenging for me. Oh well this too shall pass right? How is everyone else? Right now I'm super envious of all the Halloween nail art I've been seeing on IG and Facebook. It looks like everyone is getting into the swing of things, and while MoYou London released their take on the holiday last week they have moved onto springier horizons this week with the Kitty Collection....
So what can I say about the Kitty Collection? I own all the plates yet seemingly this is one of the most neglected sets in my MoYou London stash. If I had to say why it's because the Kitty collection in the past has only offered fairly tiny and small images. Most are singular and for some reason I don't find myself reaching for them. My favorite is the plate with the birdcages and kitty's in motion. So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw what they came up with this week.

Hot Off The Stamping Press: MoYou London Gothic Collection Expansion + Festive Collection Halloween Special Editions!
Hey lacqueristas,
So those of you who follow me regularly may have noticed the barrage of posting I've been doing over the last 3 days. For whatever reason blogger decided to eliminate my last two months of posts. I have no idea what happened, but the good people at blogger were able to help me recover the data at least so that I could repost them. Obviously I haven't been doing much besides dealing with this, but now I've finally got everything recovered I can post my usual Wednesday MoYou London post today. Oy! In any case the Gothic Collection is back and as a bonus MoYou is offering us 2 new plates from the Festive Collection Halloween style.

Halloween 2014: Colors by Llarowe Gemini Rising Star Nail Art
Hey lacqueristas,
Welcome to the start of Halloween season on LLD!! To kick things off I decided to do a super simple stamping with a color intense focus. After all I know not everyone can do the super detailed nail art that I create and sometimes it's nice just to have the color of the season and the feel without over complication. It's been a while since I put up straight up super simple stamping. I'm talking about no gimmicks tricks, advanced technique just plain old stamping. I forgot how awesome it is to do that too, but when the base color is this superlative it's kinda hard to do anything advanced when all you can do is gawk and stare.

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Dashica Beauty Infinity Nail Art Stamping Plates!
Hey stamp champs,
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! As I said yesterday/last night I am quite a ways behind on my Stamping Press series. As school, work, and travel have picked up I have much less time these days, but I still wanted to make sure my followers know what options you have out there especially with all these newly releasing plates. Today I have 30 new Infinity plates to share with you from Dashica Beauty. I really love this series from the owner and creator, Shirley Dashica, and own around 50 of these plates myself. They are definitely some of the more creative plates I own in my stash so lets take a look!

Hot Off the Stamping Press: AliExpress Halloween Nail Art Stamping Plate
Yo stamp tramps,
I've fallen a bit behind in the stamping press posts so I will try and make up for that today. I discovered a new Halloween themed stamping plate on AliExpress about 2 weeks ago that I thought I'd share. IF you order it now you will likely get it before the holiday which is why I wanted to post about it sooner!

Vivid Lacquer Blowing Bubbles Nail Art
Hey lacqueristas,
Why have I waited so long to use this plate?!?! I'm kicking myself because when I saw these images I knew I wanted to use them ASAP. Unfortunately when I ordered these plates from Vivid Lacquer the pre-order manufacturing was plagued by problems which meant I didn't get my plates for a significant period of time. By then the lust had died down a bit in my soul at least until I saw a really cool manicure done by Mariane Faliguski. When I saw that I went, pardon my french, ape-shit. Lol. I wanted to recreate this look so badly I could barely contain myself. I went hunting around my polish stash until I found just the right colors and the rest as they say is history...
