I'm on a roll with my watermarbles. Lol for whatever reason I'm just really loving them and loving playing around with them. You guys know I've created watermarbles for Christmas before in fact I'm pretty sure I created a super cute one a year or two ago. In this case I chose a different red polish and it ended up bleeding into the white polish. This nearly drove me mad until I realized I kind of liked the effect. That's when I decided to more a little away from tradition and add a bit of pink to the mix ;)

Watermarble: OPI The Thrill of Brazil and Alpine Snow, and Wet N Wild Frank
Accent nails: Essie Romper Room, 3mm crystal
Doesn't the pinkie kind of look like a poinsettia? Lol. I'm still a little erked that the red bled so much like this when I mixed in the green but for whatever reason it didn't with the accent. I think the conclusion I've reached is that I created too much detail in the pattern of the water when I was creating the candy canes versus the christmas tree accent. Well at least I like the results.
What do you think? I'm super pleased with the way the candy cane Christmas tree came out especially. This manicure also served a dual purpose to show you that you don't need Pipe Dream Polishes to watermarble. They are exceedingly easy to work with but so were these. I find in general OPI, China Glaze, and Essie cremes work the best for watermarble nail art. Also if you're struggling don't forget the post I created with tips and tricks of the trade.
