I should be giving you all a lot more holiday nail art now that December has started and I promise I will starting today. Lol I have been a touch distracted by all the neons and watermarbles. Hehe! I will bring you a few more posts like that as well, but let's kick off the holiday season with my first mani directed at Christmas though it is totally non traditional. Go figure ;) I love glitter and I love holographics. This that sparkle and glimmer are what the holiday is all about at least for me so today I created something just that. So sparkly you can't look away...
Mani-louge
Basecoat: Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter-A-Peel / Sally Hansen Diamond Flash
Jelly Sandwich: Lynndrella Lacquer Shapeshifter and Jolie Polish Black Jelly
Stamping polish: Mundo de Unas Black (1)
Stamping plates: Pueen 59 (Stamping Buffet Collection)
Studs: Born Pretty Store 2 mm metallic studs
What I love the most about this is how I can see every little shape and sparkle of Shapeshifter through the black jelly and stamping. That's why I decided to keep things very simple and even though I don't reach for my Lynnderella polishes I have to say she is a genius when it cones to polishes like this. I'm not sure Shapeshifter is even made anymore since this was a bottle from one of the earliest collections, but it's beautiful!
What do you think? As you can see going from photo to phot depending on the angle of my fingers with relation to the light this manicure shifts and you seem more or less of the holo glitter and sparkles swimming in jelly exposed. I will say for a start this nail art probably falls closer to something for New Year's Eve than Christmas, but since it's all bunched up in one holiday whatever. Lol I hope you liked today's nail art and enjoy the rest of your weekend! See you next post...
