Lol that sounded cuter in my head as things often do ;) Today I created what really amounted to a super quick and bright colored abstract nail art to cheer my sorry self up. I hate when you look outside and everything is grey as though the sun never existed in your hemisphere. Don't get me wrong winter is made for scarves and extra hot lattes and warm snuggly blankets and I love all that, but I just wish I could see a bit of sun peeking through the skies kwim? I don't know how you ladies in London and New Zealand do it! I lived in both of those places and the rain and grey skies nearly drove me mad! In any case I created this to create some cheer around the place so let's take a look...

Basecolar: Virtuous Polish Charity
Stamping polish Mundo de Unas 1, 8, 24, 27, and 29
Stamping plates: Fab Ur Nails FUN 5 and 15
Accent: 2mm gold studs
So let's take a minute to talk about this Virtuous Polish a rather new indie on the scene. Matte neon polishes hello! You had me at matte and neon. I bought these polishes after seeing several swatches of them on one of my nail groups. They are insanely bright and neon as they look except Charity the one I'm wearing here. For whatever reason this polish looked teal in the bottle and then dried navy. The navy is lovely, but I really do wish it has been closer to the color of the bottle outside. These polishes are also a touch tricky. I would not recommend putting them on unless you put a nice thick even layer of white polish underneath because when the matte polish dries it tends to show every flaw. That said they are spectacularly bright and fun so expect to see more of these around here as I purchased the entire 7 Sins collection.
The plates I used here are a combo of new and old FUN plates. I own them all and as you may recall from my recent review they are flawless and make stamping really easy. So easy I decided to create another tutorial for you guys ;)
So what do you think? Definitely a big punch of bright for your winter blues ;) You can purchase Fab Ur Nails plates here. Virtuous Polish can be found here as well. Thanks so much for reading and I'll see you next post!
