How's everyone doing? I was supposed to be posting up another epic review but my scanner is having some difficulties so while it's in the shop getting it's act together I'm going to be showing you another nail art look I created for Valentine's Day. Once again I'm obsessing with hearts though this time they are not of the watermarble variety but rather abstracted and layered over a gorgeous holographic gradient.
Mani-louge
Basecoat: FNUG Aqua Coat / Sally Hansen Diamond Flash
Gradient: Liquid Sky Lacquer Love Is In The Air and Mulled Wine
Stamping Polish: Mundo de Unas 02 and 09
Stamping plates: Vivid Lacquer VL009
So you know since I said holo I'm either going to bring out some epic Elevation Polish or Liquid Sky Lacquer cause that's how my blog works. These are my favorite brands when it comes to linear holographic polishes and they both do them so well. This time LSL was hitting all my triggers with these polishes and so I used them to maximize the depth of this design. Can you see all the little pink flecks poking through Love Is In The Air? Such a gorgeous polish!
As you can see I poured on the techniques for this nail art creating both a gradient and using double stamping so that everything ended up looking like layers upon layers of art. I like this kind of nail art because despite looking complex it's fairly simple to achieve. PS how brill does Mulled Wine look in this gradient? Like a little slice of heaven <3
What do you think? I cannot tell you how gorgeous and pretty these are in real life and how they make me want to squeal and dance with glee. They aren't just pretty they came out perfectly how I imagine they would and I couldn't stop staring at my nails. In any case I hope you liked it as much as I did! You can find Liquid Sky Lacquer here. Thanks for reading and I'll see you next post...
Beautiful! Now I need Love is in the Air? because of this.
