What did I say about the presses? Sizzling like hot tamales right? Prepare for the usual singe when it comes to one of my favorite indies - Pet'la Plate. Yas! You know this indie right? I just posted a recent re-review of her plates which you can read about here. Well our girl Petra has put her fabulous mind in gear again and came up with another season of plates worth all your avarice and lusts. Yup oooh it's been a while since I used the word lust on this blog. Though quite frankly I am always lusting after something these days - hard, metal, shiny, and unique with one of a kind imagery. I think you know what I'm talking about ladies. Let's take a peek at a few of those lusts right now....
Notice anything new? Besides the obvious new patterns? Yes Petra finally added the names each plate to the plates. Yay! Now I can free up that extra bit of memory that I needed everytime I reached for one of her plates. Well or I would in theory but I still have about 25 other plates with the names not etched ;) So Laces - I don't think lace can get any more popular! Everybody loves this stuff. It's pretty and pretty and pretty. These patterns are unique as far as I can recall from other similar themed plates Though this plate is sporting one cross over image from the Golden Russian plate.
Loomy Sunday gives me mixed feelings. The images are beautiful and because they are Pet'la I know they will fit my nails at the longest length. But somehow I was thinking something entirely different when I saw the name and the patterns loll These are what I call very straightforward images that anyone should have in their collection. Though they do have that extra Petra twist ;)
Remember when I had that horrible rant last week about dot/circle plates after seeing MYL's last release? This is me eating crow. It never tasted so good! Ceres is based on crop circles. Ok for like one moment I felt my inner X-files geek stir. Like I swear I could here Mulder in my ear whispering, "The truth is out there..." Cue creepy music *scurries off to download X-files theme as ringtone*
Three Times. Another plate I'm borderline about because of how many plates I do have in my collection. These image are fairly basic in fact I'm pretty sure I see a few images from the Geometrix plate. It's a plate of triangles, but I really love these images that remind me a bit of pulled taffy or like tie die paper art. Very cool ;)
Nazcar gtfo! Did I tell you guys this? I was like one of those super over zealous students and as such I double majored and double minored. One of my majors aside from biochemistry is anthropology. Oh yeah the study of, love of, and respect of ancient cultures. I get seriously giddy thinking about this topic so of course when I saw a plate dedicated to the Peruvian geoglyphs I almost lost my damn mind! Yas. Yas. That is all! <---This is what you call a fullblown geekout. Standby. Reloading.....
What do your Wishes look like in plate form? I already got to create one of mine with this owner the Starwars/StarTrek/Space plate that was limited edition. Essentially I designed that plate from the ground up with my friend Yvette. Its geekdom and awesomeness and I love it! So of course I love the idea that Petra got to show us what her wishes are too. Her favorite patterns and images are right here for us to use and love. I adore this plate! But does Petra have a gambling problem? Lol kidding....
Spinning. So Petra does have a gambling problem I guess its Roulette. Lol seriously I'm joking but I love this plate. It reminds me vaguely of that big ass pattern on the left hand side of the Peacock 2 plate. I also love that she created mirror images here. Let's keep spinning...
The Perfect One. The premise of this plate is you will never have to search for another Chevron pattern again because it will be one stop shopping with this little bad boy hanging out in your collection. Part of me is like HELL YAH! The other part is like Tamira are you really going to buy another chevron plate? I own a lot but this one does have some images unique to those I own ;) I do see one repeated pattern from Shenanigans though so maybe I can talk myself down from the wire.... Ah who and I kidding clearly I'm all in!
So what do you think? These plate are available for preorder now. They retail for 8 Euros per plate and shipping will start about a week from now! Yahoo right? You can purchase the plates here on the Pet'la website. Happy hunting stamp champs and I'll see you next post...
I've seen them already on their webpage. Soooo in love! Still, won't buy any for a while - the ban is on and valid.
ReplyDeleteI have checked out their web site too. I just started stamping and have too many wants and already bought a lot. But I do have there website listed in my favoirts and I to purchase at a later date.
ReplyDeleteBought the crap out of "the perfect one"! I've been looking for the perfect chevron plate forever, and whaddya know, it was waiting for me in Petra's mind!
ReplyDeleteLol I completely understand. My wishlist is a mile long! ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah they are lovely plates, but the good thing is Petra frequently restocks so I'm sure they will be around when you finish up your ban! :)
ReplyDeleteLol that's funny. It really is like the perfect plate for chevrons though I still really love my Messy Mansion ones as well :)
