Starbucks Fall Limited Edition Paper Cup Inspired Nail Art + Tutorial

Happy Friday stamperistas,

Fall never tasted so good right? Lolol!  Every fall I look forward to a few things religiously - pumpkin beer particularly the Blue Moon variety, PSL and SCM drinks from Starbucks, sweet potato cupcakes, and the wearing of hoodies with shorts.  Oh yes I am a lover of fall.  In fact I'd wager fall is my favorite season.  So when I saw the new cups that released this Fall from Starbucks I felt like I had to make an attempt to recreate this look with stamping.  I scrambled through my collection until my UberChic Beauty plates came calling.  After that the art just came straight together!

Base: Color Club French Tip

Stamping polish: Mundo de Unas Black (2)

Leadlight polishes: Homemade using Adirondack Peach Bellini, Cranberry, and Clover

Stamping plate:  UberChic Beauty 2-02

Here's the original inspiration for the nail art....I think this is the gingerbread latte, but personally I'm ore of a PSL girl myself ;) 

I think the last couple of years Starbucks has been releasing some really cool cup art.  I actually debated whether or not to put the emblem in since I do have a plate that contains it, but I thought it looked better this way.

Btw in case you couldn't tell.  I'm taking pictures with my new camera now.  It's really tough getting the hang of a new camera and I still have so much to learn, but I think the quality of my photos will improve a lot with this new addition.  I also have a totally different lens so lots of changes.  What do you think?

Above is the tutorial I created for this mani! I know a tutorial finally! I'm really sorry I'm so far behind in everything these days I know it's been a while since I put one together.  So hoorah for this one eh! Now for some Halloween themed stuff right?

I'll leave it here finally.  Has anyone else seen these limited edition cups around? And did you like the art? Do you think I should go back and put the Starbucks logo in or leave it as is?  In any case I'm really pleased with how these came out.  UberChic Beauty struck again with the perfect pattern and I'm really starting to own my own sense of color when it comes to creating these leadlight polishes for my art.  Anyway I hope you enjoyed this little heartwarming taste of fall!  Thanks for reading and I will see you next post!
