Running behind as usual. Caught a tiny winter cold that's been making me slightly miserable. It's hot ginger tea for days up in this place. But I wanted to quickly share the latest collection of plates from my favorite main stream brand - MoYou London! This time they've released a Lingo Collection. It's inspired by language and travel and as such literally spans the globe and cultures in terms of the linguistics it's laying down. So let's take a look!
Meet Abby and her Lingo plates....
Lingo from the UK. Do You Dance Ms. Darcy? Reminds me a great deal of the Literature inspired plates ;) I do really like these much better though. Then again who here doesn't know I like typography plates for the most part?
USA inspired lingo. "Oh my God...Becky look at her butt!?!" Lol let me stop. I find this lingo a little juvenile and very valley girl. The rest comes off a bit as just sayings that are popular or quotes that are popular. I wish it had a tiny bit more detailing like some of the other plates, but over all very cute.
French lingo! Cape or no cap, please, shucks...etc. Lots of very cute/fun sayings and lots of lovely fonts.
Spanish up next! Again I'm loving the mix of fonts and tiny little accents.
German Lingo. I have to admit this is a pretty fun idea! I don't know if I'd get a ton of use out of these plates but combined with the Traveller Collection and Explorer Collection it makes for extremely fun and cute nail art.
Italian lingo. Love this Made In Italy barcode and the mini cup of coffee <3
My favorite plate of this entire collection which is totally inclusive and welcoming of a culture within all our cultures which is the deaf culture! Sign language plates - love it so so much! I'm really glad they decided to create this plate.
So what do you think? Any favorites here? I'm definitely thinking about scooping a few especially that sign plate. These plates are actually already available on the MoYou London website. They retail for 4.99 GBP plus shipping. Happy hunting and thanks for reading! I'll see you next post....
I Absolutely LOVE your Sign Language Plate! I am deaf so it means a lot to me!
