Hey hey hay,
Happy hump day stamperistas! Today I'm going to show you the latest release from Sugar Bubbles. This is a company I adore. The downside is its hard as hell to get plates from this company stateside, more on that later, but for now let's see what this awesome Brazilian maker offered us at the end of the year!
Watermables and textures. I like this plate a lot though its late and derivative. Lol let's be honest how many plates have become derivative over time? Bundle Monster one of the earliest stamping companies along with Vivid Lacquer had some of the first stamping plates with watermarble patterns and its been done over and over again. Still I like that tis combined the watermarble with the textures love it!
Abstracted lace. This plate is pretty. I especially love the images on the left on the lowest row! Somehow a bit fresh and new from other images I've seen though a few look similar to some images I've seen on the Dashica plates previously.
Rainbow Brite, Jem, Muppets, Carebears, Doug, Strawberry Shortcake and more! Hello adorable! This plate needs rainbows though to complete the magic of these images.
The Addams Family and skulls yas! Everything Halloween related and goth all the time! Hell this skull key is way to perfect for me. Plus let's be honest these images are awesome! Wednesday is adorable. I think I need this one!
I love ocean inspired plates! The scale images are pretty basic for me, but I adore these starfish and shell plates. I love the stylized waves and the super in depth conch image it's fantastic! This one is another winner for me.
This plate is cute but sort of borderline for me. Some basic floral patterns tulips, roses, daisies, etc along a floral style lace image. Again cute but nothing super overwhelming here.
As I said 1 million times before I absolutely ADORE Christmas plates and all the more from this company! She always takes a really quirky perspective and a fresh take on images. She does so few plates with each release and season, but because the images are edited tastefully and selected in that manner they remain so cool and unique. The images above are no exception I love her twisted Santa's and stylized ornaments the most!
And the clock struck midnight hickory dickory dock ;) I'm actually not a particularly huge fan of New Years plates mostly because they have such a limited use however what's great when there are images with fireworks because those can be reused across other holidays or for graphic style nail art. I like this plate for that reason plus the clock reeks of Alice in Wonderland like splendor for me.
So you can find the stockists for Sugar Bubbles stamping plates on the Sugar Bubbles Facebook. Really the only company that has them currently is Beautometry and their stock is intermittently updated and in-stock which means often times the items are sold out and you're in a holding pattern. Also they charge a great deal more for the Sugar Bubbles plates than any other stockist I've seen. However if you are located elsewhere in the world you can scoop them up pretty sweetly. Happy hunting and I'll see you next post.
